Ferry ride from Discovery Bay

After all the rain last week, the sun was finally trying to fight its way back. We took a ferry from Discovery Bay to Central and as it was the first dry day, we sat outside on the top deck.

Armed with our cameras we took pictures of the ferry leaving Discovery Bay. The ferry pier is to the right, so the houses you see are the La Costa development.

The next picture is taken towards the right, so it shows the plaza and Hillgrove Village in the background.

The next picture is even further to the right. So that’s Chianti and Siena in the background that you can see. With the Seabee lane houses in front.

Over to the far left, these houses are at the Marina. They are called Coastline Villages. The houses in the back and to the right belong to the Peninsula Village.

One final glance back over Discovery Bay and Lantau…

… and we are on the sea, crossing the harbour, going into Central.
