Earth hour is coming up next Saturday, March 23, and lots of companies and individuals in Hong Kong are taking part. At 8.30pm Hong Kong will turn of all non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change.
In 2012, 2.9 million people of Hong Kong participated in Earth Hour, the Victoria Harbor went dark in that hour and over 1,800 of Hong Kong’s major buildings and landmarks switched off their lights.
