Photography: Patrick’s Cambodia pics

Not like me, Patrick has been taking tons of pictures lately. He went on a photography trip to the South of Cambodia, organised by F8 Photography, and he had one of the best times ever.

Not only did he learn a lot, about picture composition, using light properly, shooting in difficult situations (endless rain) but also on how to best approach people and take their pictures.

He did an amazing job and allowed me to feature some of his favourite shots on my blog. I decided to pick three black & white as well as three colour pics:

Cambodia July 2013 Patrick 1 colour

Cambodia July 2013 Patrick 2 kids colour

Cambodia July 2013 Patrick 3 kid door

Cambodia July 2013 Patrick 4 kids bike black and white

Cambodia July 2013 Patrick 5 kids football black and white

Cambodia July 2013 Patrick 6 kids school black and white

Should you be interested in finding out more about photography workshops, check out the F8 Photography blog and F8 Photography Facebook page.

Here‘s a glimpse of the behind the scenes plus two videos from previous Cambodia workshops, which my friend Monica had attended (South Cambodia / Phnom Penh).

I’ll clearly need to spend more time practising to be able to take such great shots – or continue with my photography sessions. I’ve still got a few more lessons left.
