Clockenflap festival 2013 – lineup announced

I did not go last year – but I’m aiming to go to this year’s music and arts festival in the West Kowloon District. Clockenflap 2013 is on the weekend from November 29 to December 1.

Last year 18,000 people attended the event, which was launched back in 2008 and has grown to a massive festival with seven stages with lots of different bands and artists playing. For this year 30,000 visitors are expected over the three days.

The first line-up has been announced – the highlight music acts are going to be Franz Ferdinand and Chic on Saturday and Metric and G.E.M. on Sunday. The early bird tickets (until Oct 13) have all been sold and you’ll now have to wait until Nov 15 until the Standard tickets (from 580 HKD for Friday, 680 HKD for Saturday or Sunday and 1,280 HKD for all three days) will go on sale.
