Halloween 2013 in Hong Kong

Today is October 31, so it’s Halloween! You might have already been to the annual Halloween bashes at Disneyland, Ocean Park or Madame Tussauds.

Halloween 2

So what could you be doing today? You could visit the largest and loudest party in Lan Kwai Fong. The area will be transformed into a secret garden with wicked witches and scary monsters from 8pm onwards.

Halloween 1

Alternatively, you could visit the Haunted Treasureland at Discovery Bay. You could dress up as a pirate, visit the pirate wonderland at the Plaza and climb aboard the haunted pirate ship, The Bounty, where an amazing adventure awaits you. To get there, take a ferry from Central Pier 3 or a bus from Tung Chung or Sunny Bay MTR stations.

There will also be a spooky Halloween Parade at Gold Coast Plaza. Just take the bus K51 from MTR Tuen Mun Station and be there before 10pm, to join in the fun.

Or if you want to stay on the Island, visit the Halloween party at Shore from 8pm to 1am. Full costumes are mandatory at this event, which will also feature live music by Levels resident DJ Robin, a VIP photo booth and Halloween desserts.

Halloween 3

Fatty Crab in Central will also host a Halloween party from 6pm onwards. There will be absinthe-inspired cocktails, fire, smoke and a DJ spinning dark tunes.

Halloween 4

Finally, if you can’t go out tonight, then there is always the extended Halloween party on Saturday November 2 at Honi Honi. Note that this event is open to pirates and mermaids only, so you’ll have to dress up in Caribbean style.
