I promise, I won’t post Christmas decorations posts every day for the next 14 days… that would be way too much. So let’s condense a few of the pictures and let you know what I’ve seen.
First of all, I’ve been to the Pacific Place – and while the shopping mall has posh shops, I found the decorations just ‘meh’. Not really exciting at all, to be honest. It looked like a combination of clockworks and robots that could have been elves. Whatever it was, it did not appeal to me.
Next up I went to Times Square and on the day I visited the big news was the opening of the Louis Vuitton Shop, so because of that there were no Christmas decorations inside. The only ones that I saw outside where very cheesy animal characters that actually moved – some where jumping out of trees, others were holding trees in their hands. It was all very silly, but good enough for many people to take pictures out on the street.
Finally, the ones that I liked best – maybe not Christmassy at all, but given they are red, I think they would make very nice Christmas decorations. Lots of Hermes scarves in the MPF Plaza close to Hysan Place. They look very elegant and nice, I wish I could decorate my flat like this!
