Year of the Horse

On January 30 the year of the snake will change into the year of the horse. In Chinese astrology, horse years are considered fortunate years. The horse is a hero in China because important battles were won due to the power and strength of the horse.

But it will also be a turbulent year, horses move quickly and with high energy. It is also said that the year will be an excellent year for travel, and the more far away and off the beaten path the better (that’s good news for me!).

DB Auberge Horse Sign

People born in horse years are said to be bright, cheerful, popular and fun loving. They find people and crowds exciting and their natural charm attract many friends. The horse is a highly intuitive animal, so people born in horse year follow their hunches. Their keen judgment and natural intuition often help them make the right decisions throughout their life.

The opposite of the horse is the rat, who thinks and plans before acting. The time for pondering and planning was the snake year 2013. In the horse year you should take a leap and fly. Just don’t ponder about decisions – the horse is a decisive animal.
