Back from holidays

Apologies, it has been a long time of silence on the blog – but now I’m back!

Longon Gap

I had been busy travelling through Europe, working in our London office and enjoying the great skyline… which has changed so much since I lived in London. So many new buildings, not just the Shard…

… but also the cheese grater…

… and overall some very fantastic and beautiful sunsets…

… combined with visits to the V&A, the British Museum and of course, the Tate Modern.

I also visited Amsterdam for the first time. I had never been to this beautiful city before and it was the perfect weather to enjoy all the outdoor cafes, boat rides and taking the sights in.

Of course, I also made sure to see some of the great museums – the Rijksmuseum is really outstanding. It is huge, and there is so much more to see than the Nightwatch, but of course, the works of Rembrandt are brilliant.

It was a shame that I had only a few days to explore the city, but it as great that my parents had joined me and we had a short time and great fun in the city.

Afterwards I quickly visited one of my best friends, before heading back to Munich and spending some more quality time with my family.

It has been a great trip, but now I’m happy to be back – and so is Sam. I think he missed me too.

And so has the blog… but I’m back now!
