North Sea Jazz Festival is coming to Hong Kong – CANCELLED

+++ Update on Sep 16, 2014: the festival has been cancelled for this year +++

A new jazz festival is coming to town: the North Sea Jazz Festival debuts from November 14 to 16, 2014.

Although the festival’s base is jazz, many genres are also presented, blues, soul, hip hop… the full line-up is still be announced, but so far Hong Kong’s most publicly recognised jazz performer, Eugene Pao, as well as leading international musicians Joss Stone, Sergio Mendes, Laura Fygi, Al Jarreau, Yuna and Jamie Cullum have confirmed their attendance.

Needless to say that I’ve already got my tickets – even if I can’t convince Patrick to join me. But my friends M&M will be there, so together we’ll have some fun!

The event will take place at the New Harbourfront Central and tickets are HK 960 for a individual day tickets and HK 2,300 for a weekend pass. You can purchase them here. Follow the North Sea Jazz Festival on Twitter and Facebook to find out more about this exciting event!
