I am not sure I should write about another concert – given that when I wrote about the North Sea Jazz Festival 2014 it was cancelled a few days after! Maybe my blog posts bring bad luck? Let me try again!
Clockenflap, a popular music and arts festival in the West Kowloon District, is on from November 28 to December 1, 2014. This event was launched back in 2008 and has grown to a massive festival with seven stages with lots of different bands and artists playing. 45,000 people are expected to attend it this year.
The first line-up has been announced already, it includes:
- Tenacious D
- The Vaccines
- Chthonic + Classical Oriental Orchestra
- The Raveonettes
- Reggie Watts
- The Lemonheads
- Janette Slack
- New Youth Barbershop
- Teenage Riot
Early bird tickets are all still available, but be quick, I’m sure they will sell out in early October. The Standard tickets range from 580 HKD for Friday, 780 HKD for Saturday or Sunday and 1,480 HKD for all three days.
You can find out more here.
Also, if you are interested: Handmade Hong Kong will again hold a craft market within the festival on November 29 and 30. Visitors will need valid Clockenflap entry tickets to access the craft market.
