Luxe Nova Lifestyle Studio is a studio in the heart of Hong Kong Central – and it combines a few things that I love and enjoy. Not only does the team sell great teas (more about this in a future post), spices and herbs, chocolates, handmade soap, skin/healthcare products for everyone including pregnant ladies and new mums, as well as supplements.
Moreover, it is in a great space – a combined gallery, open kitchen, relaxing sitting area and a big desk to work/eat.
The current exhibition at the Eco Gallery is by Daniel J. Groshong, who focuses on the development of sustainable nature-based tourism and green entrepreneurs and supports The Hummingfish Foundation. His images, a mix of landscapes and day-to-day life, promote the earth’s unspoiled natural environments and hope to encourage sustainable community-based nature and cultural tourism.
The team regularly runs events at Luxe Nova Lifestyle Studio – they range from chocolate making classes for kids and adults, coffee cupping seminars, soap-making workshops and also talks about photography, art as well as the mind and body. You can find out more on the website or Facebook page.
One event idea that I really like, and now that I have Lina, I might give a try some time soon is the lunch date with my babe, which is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch and allows mothers to meet, talk and breastfeed their babies. It is ideal for mums that have to go back to work, but would like to meet their baby for lunch – but it is also great for other mums that would like to network.
Luxe Nova Lifestyle Studio is run by a friend of mine, so of course, I am prejudiced and supportive – but it really is an oasis of calmness in the hectic Central business area of Hong Kong. I love that you can just drop in and relax, sample one of their great teas and find out more about new products and see some beautiful photography.
Luxe Nova Lifestyle Studio is at 9F, V Plus, 68 Wellington Street, Central, Tel. 2898 0568 and Info@LuxDiscret.com – but contact them first before dropping in, to make sure that Stephanie and her team can treat you to some nice tea and snacks, and give you a tour of the studio and its products.
