The Police Married Quarters (PMQ) are one of the most recent attractions in Hong Kong – and while I really enjoy strolling through the building and looking at the small shops, I have not been back since its opening in June 2014 (here are my posts about the opening and the night market – which will soon come back).
So I was really surprised when I strolled through the PMQ the other day – not just because of the fun CNY decorations (what a clever way to display the goat/ram over the heads of the visitors) but also because of all the great shops and cafes I discovered.
Here are two of my favourites:
- The pop-up store of Petite C with lovely children’s wear made in Macau. I could not resist and purchased a few little summer outfits for Lina, as the pop-up store had a 20% discount for 3+ items promotion…
- For a great coffee, tea & freshly baked goods break, head over to Levain Bakery – they even let us try their sourdough bread for free, which is really yummy!
