It’s October again, and that means it is time for October celebrations in Hong Kong. That can only mean one thing: beer, sausages and German music. The annual celebrations kicked off at the Marco Polo Hotel with the German Bierfest on October 16 and will run until November 7. As the annual tradition goes, expect lots of Erdinger beer, sausages and music from the German band The Notenhobler.
In addition, there are a few other Oktoberfest celebrations taking place this year, including:
- The German bar and restaurant Berliner is offering a range of exclusive food and beer that are all in line with the Oktoberfest (until Oct 31)
- BB’s European Cuisine at the QRE Plaza in Wan Chai is offering pig knuckles and beer (until Oct 31)
- MGM Macau is celebrating a mini-Oktoberfest with a German band and Spaten Oktoberfest beer (as well as Franziskaner non-alcoholic beer) (until Oct 25)
