Ok, so this headline makes the post sound like a very old one… well it’s not actually that old. It’s just comparing pictures from a visit to Singapore back in 1994 to now, in 2014. So just 20 years in between!

In 2002, the statue and its cub were relocated 120 metres to the current Merlion Park that fronts Marina Bay where it stands on a newly reclaimed promontory in front of The Fullerton Hotel.
