Finally, on the last day of the Lantern Festival in the Victoria Park a few pictures of the lanterns they had on show this year.
Of course, there were also the typical animal lanterns – resembling the Chinese Zodiac. I think I’ve seen those ones (or maybe similar ones before), in TST last year.
Funnily enough, a lot of the lantern installations were all centred around food. They showed food hawkers, selling noodle soup, fish balls, little chicken eggs, milk tea and other Hong Kong delicacies.
There was a huge lantern in the middle of the square, shaped like a big hot pot. Lanterns in the shape of people sat next to it, on wooden benches, they had small bowls (also lanterns) in their hands.
Lots of real life visitors sat next to those lanterns to have their pictures taken. It was funny to watch.
